The Story of Scoop McGoop

The story of Scoop McGoop takes place in the fearful town of Floop.
As the odd foreman of the Gloop Factory, Scoop McGoop never quite fit in with the other Floops. His shoes were too big for his little feet and his hat was too small for his big head.
One day, Sherry Shoop – daughter of Terry Shoop, owner of the Gloop Factory, decided to make an impromptu visit to the lowly workers below. Aghast at the poor conditions her fellow Floops were forced to work under, Miss Shoop decided to confront her father.
“How can you sit high atop your priveledged throne while your fellow Floops jump through hoops?” Sherry Shoop demanded.
“My dainty daughter, please understand – these Floops love their hoops. And without me, who would provide hoops for these Floops?” Terry Shoop replied.
Dissatisfied with her father’s rhetoric, Sherry Shoop searched for the voice of the Floops and found Scoop McGoop, cleaning up a fresh mess of Gloop.
“I, Sherry Shoop, promise that someday, as proprietor of this historical Gloop Factory, all the Floops will have wonderful working conditions, fair pay and stock in each and every piece of Gloop that we ship from our fair town of Floop.”
Enamoured and entranced by this beacon of hope in a feminine form, Scoop McGoop remained speechless. He merely tipped the brim of his company-issued hardhat and smiled a genuine Floop smile. Satisfied with his chivalry, Sherry Shoop walked away with accomplishment in her heart and Scoop McGoop returned to cleaning Gloop with love in his.
No one knows the great heights or pitfalls that befell the villagers of Floop following that historic day inside the Gloop Factory. But it is said that once a year, the hard-working people of Floop let the Gloop machines cool while they pay homage to Sherry Shoop’s profuse patronage.
They also say that the odd man with shoes too big for his small feet and a hat too small for his big head, instituted this holiday for all his fellow Floops. The faithful foreman of the Gloop Facotry, his many friends and fortunate family referred to him as – Scoop McGoop.

That’s a fine Floop, Bloop.
I had a lot of fun reading that.
Thanks! I had fun writing it.
I felt like a retarded version of Dr. Seuss.
Which may be closer to reality than I like to believe.
I’m digging it!
