Maybe This Only Amuses Me – Neil Hamburger Interview

Neil Hamburger Interview

Here is a hilarious, crudely taped interview with America’s Funnyman – Neil Hamburger. Mr. Hamburger is the stand-up comedian character of Gregg Turkington and he’s a brilliant, seedy curmudgeon. If you don’t think this is funny…perhaps you’re just not cut out to be a weirdo.

yeah i saw him and it was really weird but i loved it.

    i didn’t meet him, though.

and i think he live in LA, not portland. he did a show called “poolside chat” for tom green’s website.

i’m glad you like him. i think he’s brilliant.

of course i do. he is weird and films himself being so.

how can u not respect that.

not only that – but he takes so much crap from people who don’t understand that he’s a joke.

basically, he purposefully alienates the audience.

    it’s SO good.

really? do people in the audience heckle him and tell him to be funny? that kind of stuff?

if so i love how that feeds his act.

i also love how people would go see him and not understand that is his act and get mad at him and try to bring him down.

    people are douches.

well he opened for some music act or something a few years ago and was booed off the stage a lot. but he kept doing it anyway. which i love.
