Maybe This Only Amuses Me – Geena Davis Sketchies II Entry

YouTube is currently holding a sketch comedy contest called Sketchies II. The criteria was simply to create a funny video that included music and a road trip. Well, as you can imagine, the majority of the twenty videos you can vote for are hack in concept, obnoxious in execution, and produced by people that mistakingly think they’re funny. Some of the videos are downright painful to sit through. A few are decent such as Prowlaman’s: The Vegas Trip but nothing remarkably interesting.

Geena Davis: Heaven On Wheels, however, stands far above the pack as the only solidly written, acted, directed and edited video in the contest. Honestly, it is one of the only entries that even had an intriguing premise. So, check it out, let me know what you think and maybe give these guys a vote over on YouTube so that mediocrity doesn’t win out again.
