Sean, I think all caption writing contests are what you make of them. If you submit witty gags, it’s good, if not, it’s not.

But yeah, Diesel is a dedicated writer and a champion for the humor blog crowd. It’s basically just nice to have people out there who are interested in delivering and sharing the wealth.

I checked out Mattress Police because I’m content to let Julius Bloop filter my comedy resources.

The caption contest submissions I saw were kind of bland and/or awful, but diesel’s writing was great.

Yeah, Bill Hicks is one of my favorite comedian/philosophers of all time. I’m glad you enjoy his work as well.
